hey I’m Jake! The guy behind the camera!

you might be thinking “hey you must of always wanted to do this photography thing growing up and you DEFINITELY must of always had a passion for it” but the truth is, i didn’t!

My photography journey started with my wife asking me to take her outfit pictures for instagram lol crazy right?! I literally had no desire to do it, i even told her “we can just use your phone to take the pictures”. she really wanted a “professional” camera so being the amazing husband that i am, i bought her one in 2017 for christmas…a $60 canon dslr camera on offer up lol…she was literally in tears!

i captured everything from landscapes to flowers while also taking those outfit pictures my wife insisted on lol! my first paid photoshoot wasn’t until summer of 2018 and i was a nervous wreck..but you know what? i enjoyed it! the different personalities that each person portrays really is unique in their own way, i loved that! back in 2018 and even now i am still learning and still growing! when it comes to capturing you, i want to capture who you truly are. i don’t want fake smiles (okay maybe once in a while i’ll tell you to look at me and smile) lol but what i really want is to capture your genuine self, flaws and all.
